He received his Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Cornell University and MD degree from UMDNJ-NJ Medical School. He completed his internship and ophthalmology residency training at St. Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center in New York City. He specializes in all facets of general medical and surgical ophthalmology including the latest laser cataract surgery with astigmatism-correcting and multifocal distance-and-near-focusing lens implants. Although he has a technical background stimulating him to practice at the forefront of technology, he prides himself in maintaining “old fashioned” doctor-patient relationships.

Having played football in college and rugby in medical school it came naturally to coach youth soccer, basketball, baseball, and football for 13 years while raising 3 sons in Hollywood.
